Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website filairltd.site and any engagement with Fil Air Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by Fil Air Ltd, registered in England & Wales, with its address at 120b Station Road, Wood Green, London, England, N22 7SX, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 794 086 174.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. What we do not carry out
We carry out building completion and finishing work only. We do not carry out gas work. Work on gas fittings and appliances may only be carried out by a business registered with Gas Safe Register, and we are not registered and do not hold ourselves out as being. We do not carry out electrical installation work. Electrical installation work in dwellings is subject to Part P of the Building Regulations and we do not undertake it or self-certify it. We do not carry out structural work, we do not provide design services, and we are not an air conditioning or refrigeration business: we do not install, service, repair or decommission equipment containing fluorinated greenhouse gases, which requires certification we do not hold. Where work falls outside what we do, we will say so and decline it.
We do not disturb, remove or work on any material suspected of containing asbestos. If such material is found or suspected, work stops immediately and the client is informed; it is for the client to arrange a survey and, where required, a licensed contractor. Obtaining building regulations approval, planning permission, party wall agreements, landlord or freeholder consent and access is the client’s responsibility unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
3b. Quotations, works and responsibility
Quotations set out what is included and what is excluded and are valid for the period stated. Work is carried out to the agreed scope; variations requested afterwards are quoted separately. Estimates are given in good faith on what can be seen at the time, and hidden defects, unsuitable substrates, damp and previously concealed work may change both the programme and the price. Drying, curing and settlement times apply to plaster, filler, paint and jointing, and finishes should not be assessed or decorated over before those times have passed; shrinkage cracking at joints and junctions in a new or newly plastered building is normal and is not a defect. Where the client supplies materials, we accept no responsibility for their suitability or performance. Statutory duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 fall on the parties the Regulations place them on, and nothing in these terms transfers a duty the law puts on someone else. Where waste is removed from a site it is transported only by a registered waste carrier and taken to a lawfully permitted destination. Nothing on this website is advice for your particular situation.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
